2024 Judo BC Provincial Championships taking place this weekend at NSC

PRINCE GEORGE — This weekend will be a busy one at the Northern Sports Centre as the 2024 Judo BC Provincial Championships are set to take place this weekend. Over 350 athletes from across the province will be participating in the event. 17 of them from the North.

The event serves as a qualifier to compete at the 2024 Canadian Open Nationals this May in Montreal. One last opportunity for judokas to put the finishing touches on their technique and moves in a live tournament.

The U8 to U12 event will start Friday Night while the rest of the tournament will take place all day on Saturday. Admission is free and the PG Judo Club is encouraging residents to come out and support the local athletes competing on home turf.
