UNBC class holding survey about cost of living in Prince George

Apr 5, 2024 | 2:44 PM

PRINCE GEORGE — Students in a Canadian public policy course POLS 320 at UNBC are conducting a survey to find out more from people in Prince George and their experiences with costs of living.

“Within this course, we have been doing this ongoing research assignment. Right now, we’re trying to figure out how people are dealing with the cost of living. If it’s different in Prince George or the rest of Canada. And then what demographic is kind of experiencing the cost of living more and who it’s affecting the most?” – Keira Emes, POLS 320 Student

After all the survey results are collected, the class will be compiling everything into a final report that will be completed on April 12, before the semester is complete.

Around 200 people have filled out the survey so far, but the class is hoping for more responses and from other demographics.

“As many results as we can get will provide an even greater sample for us and provide us with the ability to go further with the research.” – Keira Emes, POLS 320 Student

The survey closes at midnight tonight, and a link to the survey can be found HERE.
