Police incident on Tabor

PRINCE GEORGE— Update (12:50): Police say they received reports that a resident of an apartment on tabor discharged bear spray. Upon arrival the complainant said the suspect had a firearm as well. Due to this police evacuated the building and called in emergency response crews, the dog service teams and frontline officers. The suspect has fled from the scene and is still at large.

Update (12:40): The hold and secure notice for École Lac des Bois, D.P. Todd Secondary School, Heritage Elementary School, and Foothills Elementary has been lifted.

Earlier (12:15): A heavy RCMP presence at the 800-block of Tabor boulevard Tuesday morning. Mounties state that they received reports of a disturbance at 11:15 a.m. and promptly arrived on scene.

The disturbance has blocked off the road between Horsefly Place and Eaglenest Crescent. additionally a hold and secure notice has been issued for École Lac des Bois, D.P. Todd Secondary School, Heritage Elementary School, and Foothills Elementary. Police are in a holding pattern.
