RCMP say Tara Ann-Marie Schwab was last seen at around 5 a.m. Monday morning (April 15) at the Petro Can in McBride. Police say she lives in Prince George but had spent the past three days in McBride.

RCMP located her abandoned car in McBride at around 7:30 Monday morning, but could not locate Tara. Mounties and Tara’s family are concerned for her well-being and feel she may be in medical distress.

She is described as:

  • 5′ 0″ or 152 cm
  • 100 lb or 45 kg
  • Shoulder length brown hair
  • Tattoos of butterflies and flowers on her leg, bird on her foot, small footprints and a date on her left wrist, and “love is blind” on her ribs.

Police say she was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with either black Ugg boots or small blue shoes, and she was carrying a Petro Canada reusable bag and an over the shoulder bag.

Police say it’s possible she may be trying to hitchhike to Kamloops.
