PRINCE GEORGE—The North Cariboo BC SPCA received a mother and her puppies from animal control. Found as strays the puppies are in good health and ready to be adopted by anyone looking to add a furry friends to their family.

However the SPCA requires the pets to be fostered until they can get spayed or neutered.

“With our adoptions, we do want to make sure that all of our animals are fixed before they’re adopted,” explains Rhianne Delany, an animal care attendant for BC SPCA. “But, the nice thing about the foster to adopt program that we offer here, is that you are able to take the animal home with you.”

Don’t forget about the proud mother as once her litter is all grown up she’ll be ready for a new home.

“She’s an angel. She definitely is ready for a new home once these guys are grown up. And, no more puppies for her. So, we’ll make sure she’s spayed and I’m sure she’s going to be a wonderful dog for somebody,” continues Delany.

You can apply to be a foster online by visiting the North Cariboo BC SPCA website.
