Up close and personal with the PGSO’s new pedal harp

The Prince George Symphony Orchestra recently purchased a pedal harp, a first for Northern BC, through a generous donation from Fred and Daniella van der Post with support from the Prince George Community Foundation. The instrument will make its debut on stage this Saturday at St. Michaels Anglican Church, with Vancouver Opera Principal Harpist, Joy Yeh. Leading up to that, we wanted to see what makes this harp stand out from others, so we asked local harpist Shoshanna Godber to teach Caden more about the instrument, and how to play the quintessential glissando.
