Ravensbergen named WHL Rookie of the Month

CALGARY — Prince George Cougars goalie Joshua Ravensbergen has been named the WHL’s Rookie of the Month for April.

This is a first for Ravensbergen, though he was named Goalie of the Month for November.

The 17-year-old went 6-2-0-0 through March with a 2.10 goals-against average, a .930 save percentage and a league-leading three shutouts.

He was named a WHL B.C. Division Second-Team All-Star after an impressive rookie season that saw he post a 26-4-1-1 record, a 2.46 goals-against average, a .907 save percentage and a league-leading six shutouts.
