RCMP seeks owner of lost gun and ammo
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is looking for the owner of a gun that was recovered recently.
Mounties found the firearm near Highway 97 North and Noranda Road East on Tuesday, April 9. The firearm was located on the side of the road in a camouflage fabric case with a small quantity of assorted ammunition.
“Police recovered the firearm and the ammunition and will keep it at the Prince George RCMP Detachment while we attempt to locate the owner”, states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
