Ferguson Lake Road washed out

Update: The City says they will be placing a temporary bridge over the damaged area this weekend. The road will be for single lane traffic use only and will be for local residents and emergency vehicle access. The City is asking everyone else to stay clear of the area.

Road staff are making attempts to contact impacted residents

Earlier: PRINCE GEORGE—Ferguson Lake Road in the Hart area Hart area between Edward Road and the Ferguson Lake Nature Reserve is closed to all pedestrians and traffic. This is due to flooding causing a section of the road to be washed out.

The City’s road department are working on a temporary fix to open the road as soon as possible but ask everyone to clear the area until it’s reopened.

Updates will be provided when they become available.
