Two-vehicle MVI near Foothills and North Nechako

PRINCE GEORGE — Emergency crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle collision involving a city garbage truck and a pickup carrying a loaded trailer.

RCMP say the partial head-on crash happened at 2:49 p.m. Monday just south of the intersection at North Nechako Road and Foothills Boulevard on Foothills.

The crash has closed Foothills in both directions and the jaws of life are being used to free the driver of the pickup truck.

Injuries are unknown at this time.
