McIntyre Crescent fire causes $50k in damages

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 200 block of McIntyre Crescent early Wednesday morning (May 22).

Three halls were dispatched with 15 members and fire apparatus at 2:30 a.m. with crews arriving to find heavy smoke and flame coming from the roof.

All occupants were able to escape without injury and the fire was quickly brought under control.

Damages are estimated at $50,000. The cause is under investigation.
