Barkerville to kick off its main season on June 1st

BARKERVILLE — Barkerville’s main season kicks off on June 1.

Visitors can look forward to the return of live programming, open shops and restaurants along with a brand new show at Theatre Royal. Guests will be able to enjoy classic attractions like the Guided Town Tour and the Cornish Waterwheel, discover Chinese cultural experiences, and immerse themselves in the stories of the region’s Indigenous peoples.

Highlights this season include the annual Dominion Day celebrations on July 1, the 9th annual Indigenous Peoples’ Celebrations on August 17 and the 24th annual Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival on August 24.
