Petition launched to stop relocation of bus stop on Davis Road

PRINCE GEORGE — A petition has been launched opposing the relocation of the bus stop from Foster/Davis roads on to Ospika Boulevard.

It has close to 300 signatures and was launched by the Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Society.

In a letter to Prince George City Council dated May 20, they believe the relocation of the bus stop will result in a series of negative consequences – including on seniors with mobility impairments that use canes and walkers to get around.

They note it’s also located near the Sikh Gurdwara, where congregants use that stop.
