RCMP investigate Ahbau Street stabbing
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP need your help in identifying a suspect in a recent stabbing.
Mounties say it happened at around 11 p.m. on May 25 in the parking lot near the 1400-block of Ahbau Street. Officers arrived to find one man who had been stabbed several times.
“The victim was transported to the hospital where he received treatment for his serious but non-life threatening injuries,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper. “With the assistance of a Police Dog Services unit, one suspect was located a short distance away; he was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to the Prince George RCMP detachment where he was later released without process. There is one witness outstanding.”
Police officers have identified a person of interest in this investigation, whose image was taken from the surveillance camera at a nearby business (see attached photo).
