PRINCE GEORGE — It was a busy morning for staff at Prince George’s newest grocery store, as Buy Low Foods Parkwood opened their doors.

Buy Low Foods opened their newest store in Prince George on Friday morning. It was a busy start, as crowds were eager to get inside right at 8 am. The first 100 customers of the day received a 10 dollar gift card. Grand opening celebrations take place all weekend, with the first 100 customers of the day on Friday and Saturday receiving a $10 gift card, along with Spin and Win giveaways on Saturday.

Until June 28, customers can also enter the ‘Groceries for a Year’ contest, which will see one randomly drawn lucky customer win $5,200 in gift cards.

The opening of the store, also marks the return of a grocery store to downtown Prince George since Save On Foods moved to Pine Centre in September. Buy Low Foods says that they believe customers are going to “love the great savings, value and service from the team at Buy-Low Foods Parkwood.”
