Cougars to play Blazers in Quesnel

PRINCE GEORGE — Hockey fans in Quesnel will want to circle September 14 on their calendars.

That’s the night the Prince George Cougars will play the Kamloops Blazers in a pre-season game at the West Fraser Centre. Puck drop will be at 5 p.m.

It’s one of four pre-season games the Cougars will play in September. The first two games will be in Edson, Alberta on Saturday September 7 and Sunday September 8 versus the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Cougars third game will be held on Friday, September 13 versus the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops.

The WHL’s regular season schedule will be released on June 25.
