WestJet Mechanic strike impacts Prince George Airport

PRINCE GEORGE — A walkout by WestJet mechanics is impacting operations at YXS, the Prince George Airport.

A trio of arrivals have been cancelled with two flights from Vancouver and one from Calgary officially listed as cancelled on the Airport’s website.

Those cancellations have also effected three departures, with the 9:55 AM to Vancouver, 11:25 to Calgary and 16:25 to Vancouver also cancelled.

All passengers are advised to check with the airline for up to date flight status.
