Cause of modular home fire under investigation

PRINCE GEORGE — No one was injured in an early morning structure fire in Blackburn.

Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the blaze at approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday morning (July 2) in the 300-block of Blackburn Road North.

When crews arrived, they found a single wide modular home partially involved. Crews were able to confine the damage to the one unit involved. No one was inside the home when the fire broke out and damages are estimated at $20,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
