UNBC Timberwolves unveils 2024/25 Women’s Basketball schedule

PRINCE GEORGE— The UNBC Timberwolves Women’s Basketball program has announced it’s 2024/25 Canada West regular season schedule. The first game of their season will begin on Friday, November 1, 2024 in Kelowna against UBC Okanagan Heat.

Then on November 3, the T-wolves will welcome the Thompson Rivers WolfPack to the Northern Sports Centre for the green and gold home opener. There will be a total of nine Timberwolves regular season home games.

Following the home opener the Timberwolves will hit the road for a pair of games in Victoria on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9. Afterwards they’ll clash with the Cougars in Regina on November 14 and 15.

On November 22 and November 23, the team will suit up for a pair of home games against UBC Okanagan Heat. A bye week is schedules for the following weekend meaning the T-wolves won’t play their next regular season game until January 2025.

The 2025 portion of the series begins with the Timberwolves in Abbotsford on Friday, January 10 when they face off against the Fraser Valley Cascades. Then it’s off to UBC for another a battle against the Thunderbirds on January 11.

The Timberwolves head back home beginning on January 16. On Thursday, they’ll host the Victoria Vikes and on Saturday they’ll battle the Trinity Western Spartans.

A road trip will take UNBC to Kamloops where they’ll face off against Thompson Rivers Wolfpack on January 24 and January 25.

On January 31 and February 1 the Timberwolves will host the Fraser Valley Cascades. Then, it’s one more road trip to Langley B.C. to battle Trinity Western Spartans on February 7 and February 8.

Green and gold will wrap up their season at home when they welcome the UBC Thunderbirds on February 14 and February 15.
