31 bus shelters to be upgraded

PRINCE GEORGE—BC Transit and the City of Prince George are upgrading 31 new bus shelters over the next month.

Beginning July 8, the existing shelters will hae their glass panels removed before the rest of the shelter is taken out and replaced. BC Transit says the new shelters will sport a modern design with new seating and lighting for peoples comfort and safety.

BC Transit warns that there may be some minor disruption during the construction process.

The final shelter is expected to be completed by August 2, 2024.
