Muffin searches for a new family

PRINCE GEORGE— If you’re interested in a new dog and are willing to put in the time to train one, then look no further than Muffin. Muffin is an energetic one-year-old dog who loves people and loves to play.

Muffin recently had a visit to the vet where she was spayed checked for any health conditions and microchips. Bella Andrews an Animal Care Coordinator at the BC SPCA says that Muffin would thrive in an active household.

“We think muffin would do well in a home that has time to train her and possibly a bigger yard, as she wouldn’t do well in an apartment building,” says Andrews. “She wants to be outside. She wants to be around people. She wants to be burning off the energy she has.”

Andrews adds that Muffin is a quick learner and that it only took them 20 minutes to teach her to sit. However, her excitability can quite often make her forget about her training.

If you would like to adopt Muffin you can visit the BC SPCA online or in person.
