Prince George Pride Parade sees large turnout, strong community support
PRINCE GEORGE – The 27th annual Prince George Pride Parade took place today (July 13), and event organizers say it was one of the Parade’s bigger turnouts in the event’s history.
“The community engagement has been phenomenal, the community has been very excited to be part of the parade this year. There have been so many last minute people showing up and saying, ‘hey, we want to be in too,'” said the Prince George Pride Society’s President CJ Klitch.
Klitch said 26 floats/organizations and more than 300 walkers took part, on top of the hundreds of other community members enjoying the parade from the sidelines.
