Proposed hydrogen project for Prince George not dead
PRINCE GEORGE — It was just under a year ago that global green energy and metals company Fortescue announced that they would be establishing a green energy hub in Prince George.
The proposed facility would be situated at the Willow Cale Industrial Park in Prince George on the unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation and in October 2021, the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation and Fortescue, signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
However, an article published this week by the Vancouver Sun, warned that Fortescue would be putting hydrogen projects in BC on hold.
