Regional District of Fraser-Fort George rescinds evacuation alerts

PRINCE GEORGE — The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has lifted the evacuation alerts for the Beaver River wildfire and the Dunster-Croydon wildfire.
The public is asked to visit the RDFFG website at rdffg.ca for updated information or to call its emergency operations centre at 1-250-960-4400 or toll-free at 1-800-667-1959.
The alert for the Beaver River wildfire was issued back on July 20 while the alert for the Dunster-Croydon wildfire was issued on July 21. An evacuation order for 10 properties affected by the Beaver River wildfire was issued back on July 22.
