PRINCE GEORGE – On a recent visit to the Robson Valley, Prince George-Valemount MLA Shirley Bond, determined that there is a critical need for a variety of food items in the organization that serves as the food bank in that area.

The influx of evacuees has completely drained the organization and refilling it will be a significant effort that the city of Prince George can greatly contribute to. Wood Wheaton Supercenter is partnering with all of the local Save on Foods for the weekend of August 9th,10th and 11th. There will be a donation bin at the exit of each location that community members can drop donations into. Wood Wheaton will pick up full bins and store them to be delivered the following week.
