Wildfire sparks near Trembleur Lake: BC Wildfire Service

The BC Wildfire Service discovered a wildfire burning on Saturday (Aug. 3) just north of Trembleur Lake in the Prince George Fire Centre.

Lightning is the suspected cause of the blaze, which is listed at 6.14 hectares on Sunday (Aug. 4) morning on the BC Wildfire Service website.

The service posted on twitter on Saturday, noting the vigorously burning fire was visible from Granisle, Ruby Rock Lake Park and Fort St. James.

Air tankers were responding.
