VICTORIA — Former Northern Health CEO Cathy Ulrich has been appointed to the Order of British Columbia.
She’s one of 12 individuals to be honoured with the Order of British Columbia this year – which the Province of British Columbia says exemplifies excellence.
Created in 1989, the province’s highest honour celebrates people who have distinguished themselves and excelled in their field of endeavour bring great prestige to the province and beyond.
Ulrich joined Northern Health in 2002 and served as clinical services and chief nursing officer and vice president before becoming CEO in 2007. She retired last year. She will receive the award at a special ceremony to celebrate the 35th anniversary at Government House in Victoria on September 4.
