Home invasion on Lalonde Road leads to arrests

PRINCE GEORGE — A home invasion early Friday (Aug.9). has lead to four people being arrested.

Prince George RCMP say police were called to a home on Lalonde Road at 12:30 a.m. after shots were fired.

Police located a suspect vehicle on 15th Avenue which later crashed near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Alward Street. One of the suspects was arrested while three others fled. The other three people were arrested a short time later. Police located a firearm at 15th Avenue and Foothills Boulevard which they believe was involved in the incident.

The suspects are aged 21,22,23 and 49 and remain in police custody. RCMP believe the home invasion was targeted and note that the home owner was not injured.
