Cougars assistant coach Carter Rigby suspended for three games
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Cougars Assistant Coach Carter Rigby has been suspended for three games.
Rigby was suspended for “violating the league’s Standards of Conduct on the use of insensitive language.”
In a media release, it says that “the Prince George Cougars Hockey Club is committed to upholding the WHL Standards of Conduct and accepts the three-game suspension of Carter Rigby.”
The Cougars say that “Carter regrets the incident and has agreed to participate in supplemental sensitivity training over and above the WHL’s mandatory Respect in Hockey education programming for all staff, players, and personnel associated with the league.”
