Drug bust on Irwin Street

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Mounties have announced a drug bust.

It occurred the afternoon of August 20, after police observed a Pontiac Sunfire speeding through a residential neighbourhood.

It led police to a home on the 200-block of Irwin Street, leading to the seize of over 700 grams of fentanyl, 300 grams of suspected cocaine and more than a 1.5 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine. They also seized a loaded handgun. The vehicle was impounded though no suspects have been identified.

“This investigation represents another significant blow to the illicit drug trade in Prince George and is an example of the dedication our police officers have to public safety.”
