Fraser Lake RCMP searching for woman wanted for assault

FRASER LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in Fraser Lake are asking the public’s help in finding a wanted 46-year-old woman.

In a news release issued Friday (Aug. 30) afternoon, RCMP say Melanie Dawn Joy Liddell is wanted for obstructing a peace officer, assault and breach of release order.

Liddell is described as an Indigenous woman standing 5’6” and weighing 170 lbs. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who spots Liddell is asked not to confront her and instead call their local police detachment.

Anyone with information about Liddell’s whereabouts is asked to contact Fraser Lake RCMP at (250) 699-7777.
