Timberwolves men’s soccer club holds Vikes to 0-0 draw in home opener

PRINCE GEORGE — The University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) Timberwolves men’s soccer club picked up their first point of the 2024 Canada West season.

In their home opener at Masich Place Friday (Aug. 30), the Timberwolves held the University of Victoria Vikes to a 0-0 draw. UNBC goalkeeper Logan Pierce made 11 saves for the clean sheet.

The Timberwolves improve to zero wins, two losses and one draw early in the season. They’ll host the Vikes for a rematch Saturday, Aug. 31, at Masich Place. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m.
