Checking out Chuck Chin’s memorial bench at Cottonwood Island Park

Dedicated community photography and community champion Chuck Chin will have his life remembered in many forms across the city whether it’s photos, murals, or other ways. We caught up with Chuck’s family at one of his favourite spots to take photos, the confluence of the Nechako and Fraser river and the iconic train bridge at Cottonwood Island Park on a bench that is now dedicated to the longtime photographer.
