Man arrested following liquor store robbery on the Hart

PRINCE GEORGE — One man has been arrested following a robbery at a liquor store on the Hart.
Prince George RCMP say it happened at around 10:30 Tuesday morning (Sept.10) at Liquor on the Hart, located on the 4300 block of Nordic Drive.
A worker at the store says the suspect brandished a weapon, stole a bottle of wine, then took off.
“He came in the store and he was all suspicious as he came in and he walked right up to the wine here; Bent down,” recounts Jessica Mosionier who was working at the time. “We normally say, ‘hey, how’s it going?’ And then, all of a sudden, he makes his way out and he says, ‘you can call the cops if you want. I have a weapon.’ When we knew that and could see he was stealing, we locked him in the foyer here and then he proceeded to bang on the window. And then we seen the knife and he ended up making his way out the door, through the lock.”
