Linden Makow named as PG Spruce Kings captain

PRINCE GEORGE— Linden Makow (04) is the twenty-third BCHL Spruce Kings captain. The forward from Vanderhoof will be succeeding former captain Colton Cameron (2022-2023).

“I am incredibly honoured and grateful to have been named captain of the Prince George Spruce Kings,” says Makow. “It’s a true privilege to lead such a great group of guys and represent this amazing organization.”

Makow will be entering his fifth year with the Kings. In his last season Makow posted 34 points with 16 goals and 18 assists. Over the course of his 143 BCHL regular season games, Makow made 35 goals and 35 assists.

“We are proud to officially add the captaincy to Linden Makow’s jersey. We look forward to his continued leadership on the ice, in the locker room and in our community.” stated Head Coach Alex Evin.

“Linden has been with our program for five seasons. He’s a tremendous young man who understands the team expectations.” added General Manager Mike Hawes. “I know he will embrac the opportunity to be our Captain.”

Makow expressed his gratitude for the new role saying “I want to thank the coaching staff, management, and my teammates for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Without their support and guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
