Thunderbirds complete sweep of visiting Timberwolves

VANCOUVER — The UBC Thunderbirds of Vancouver blanked the visiting UNBC TImberwolves of Prince George 3-0 in men’s Canada West soccer action on Saturday (Oct. 5).
UNBC dropped to 1-11-2 on the campaign, while UBC improved its conference-best record to 9-0-2.
The T-Birds earned a 1-0 win over the T-Wolves on Friday in Vancouver.
On the women’s side, the T-Wolves will host the Mount Royal Cougars of Calgary on Sunday (Oct. 6), a 1:45 p.m. start at Masich Place Stadium.
