Thunderbirds cruise to victory over Timberwolves in Prince George; rematch Saturday

PRINCE GEORGE — Jada Taylor-Ryan scored a hat-trick for the UBC Thunderbirds in a 7-0 victory over the UNBC Timberwolves in women’s Canada West soccer play on Friday (Oct. 11) at Masich Place Stadium.

UBC outshot the home team 22-3 and improved to 11-0 this season, while UNBC dropped to 1-10.

The rematch will take place on Saturday and mark the last home game for six graduating Timberwolves — Kjera Hayman, Sidney Elliott, Camryn Cline, Brityn Hinsche, Sarah Lepine and Claire Turner.

Game time is 6 p.m. at Masich Place Stadium.
