Thousands of Prince George-area residents go to polls in first days of advance voting

Elections BC is tracking advance voting turnout for the provincial election.

In Prince George-Mackenzie, 4,053 people headed to the polls from Thursday (Oct. 10) to Saturday (Oct. 12), representing 13.2 per cent of eligible voters in the riding.

Over the first three days of advance voting in Prince George-North Cariboo, turnout was 4,127 or 12.5 per cent of registered voters.

In Prince George-Valemount, voter turnout of 3,305 is about 11 per cent of eligible voters.
