YXS celebrates non-stop flight to Kelowna

PRINCE GEORGE — Pacific Coastal Airlines launched its inaugural non-stop flight between Prince George and Kelowna Tuesday morning (Oct.29).

It will operate six times a week. It will depart YXS at 7:45 a.m. and arrive in Kelowna at 9:10. It will depart Kelowna at 6:20 p.m. and arrive in Prince George at 7:40 p.m.

“This service is a welcome addition to the existing routes at YXS,” said Gordon Duke, president and CEO of the Prince George Airport Authority. “We are excited to see an increase in diverse and convenient travel options available for our community, region, and province.”

“We’re excited to announce a new route from Prince George and to expand our service in the region. This new flight is designed to allow convenient day trips, operating six times a week with an early morning departure from Prince George and a same day return from Kelowna in the evening,” said Berkan Kucukkatipoglu, Director of Commercial Planning at Pacific Coastal Airlines.
