Cougars fall in overtime to the Blades

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars blew a two-goal, third period lead to fall to the visiting Saskatoon Blades 5-4 Tuesday night before 3,019 people at CN Centre.
The Blades scored two goals 19 seconds apart mid-way through the third to send the game to overtime, where Brandon Lisowsky scored the winner at the 2 minute mark for the win.
Koehn Ziemmer scored twice for Prince George with Terik Parascak and Borya Valis scoring the other goals.
Prince George outshot Saskatoon 35-34. The Cougars are back on home ice Saturday night when they host the Vancouver Giants.
