Timberwolves drop weekend set in Regina
REGINA, SASK. — The UNBC Timberwolves continue to search for their elusive first win in Canada West men’s basketball action.
They dropped to 0-6 after a 100-72 defeat to the Regina Cougars on the road Saturday, Nov. 16, and sit in the basement on the Pacific Division.
Evgeny Baukin’s 23 point effort on Saturday matched a career high for the TWolves. He also added seven assists. Justin Sunga, who had a career-best 29 points in Friday’s 84-64 loss, put up 18 points on Saturday.
In women’s action, the TWolves dropped a pair of games to Regina as well – 91-50 on Friday and 72-42 Thursday.
