PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement as windy conditions are expected Tuesday to Wednesday this week.

Those winds are expected to peak Tuesday night and are expected to cover many parts of the province, including the Cariboo, Prince George and northwest B.C.

“A significant fall storm will impact the B.C. Interior today and Wednesday. The low pressure system approaching the coast will rapidly deepen late today and then curl northward on Wednesday, remaining offshore throughout the period,” says Environment Canada.
