PRINCE GEORGE –Update: CN has provided more details on Friday morning’s train derailment.

CN says four cars carrying coal derailed, with one of the railcars on its side and the other three upright.

There are no reports of injuries, leaks, or fires and no crossings are currently blocked. The cause of the incident is under investigation.

At around 10:00 a.m. on November 22 several community members reported the train car tipping over, spilling what appears to be coal. CN Rail crews were at the scene investigating the incident.
