Fill the Bin kicks off around town

PRINCE GEORGE – Homespun Refillery on 15th Avenue is one of 11 local businesses taking part in the “Fill the Bin” event.

Small City garbage cans are decorated in the festive spirit in the second annual event, where the City is inviting residents to drop off lightly-worn clothing items, winter apparel, pet supplies, items for new parents and non-perishable food items.

Locations are:

• Books and Company – 1685 3rd Ave
• Bosley’s – 2482 Ferry Ave or 100 Tabor Blvd
• Cap-Abilities – 1313 1st Ave
• City Hall – 1100 Patricia Blvd
• Homespun Refillery – 3110 15th Ave
• Paw Street Market – 5079 Domano Blvd
• Prince George Aquatic Centre – 1770 George Paul Lane
• Save on Foods College Heights – 5232 Domano Blvd
• Save on Foods Hart – 3885 West Austin Road
• Starbucks at the Ramada – 444 George St
• Total Pet – 1915 Victoria St

There are more locations as both drop-off locations as well as recipients for the donations this year than last year.
