Snowfall warning issued for Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE — Time to get those shovels and snow blowers ready.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George with 15 centimetres of snow expected Wednesday through Friday.
Affected areas also include the Bulkley Valley, Williston, Stuart – Nechako, McGregor, Cariboo, Pine Pass, Yellowhead and Yellowhead Highway – Tête Jaune Cache to the Alberta Border.
“A low pressure system over the Gulf of Alaska will bring snow to parts of the northern and central BC interior beginning this (Wednesday) morning and continuing until Friday morning. Period of light snow on Wednesday will transition to more consistent snowfall tonight. Snowfall may be heavy at times on Thursday. The system will move out of the region by Friday midday,” says Environment Canada.
