Snowfall warning extended into the weekend

PRINCE GEORGE — The snow that was supposed to ease off Friday is going to continue a little while longer.

Environment Canada has extended its snowfall warning into the weekend, including a heavy round of snow on Saturday (Nov.30).

It will affect the following areas: Prince George, Stuart – Nechako, Lakes District, Bulkley Valley, near the Cariboo Mountains, Yellowhead, McGregor, Williston, Pine Pass, and Yellowhead Highway – Tête Jaune Cache to the Alberta Border.

Ten to 15 centimetres is expected on Saturday, except 15 to 25 centimetres for Burns Lake, Fort St. James, and near Highway 97 north of Prince George.
