Timberwolves host Dinos

Second-ranked Dinos win both exhibition basketball games over TWolves

PRINCE GEORGE — The Calgary Dinos took both exhibition men’s basketball games against the UNBC Timberwolves this weekend at Brownridge Court.

The 7-1 Dinos, who are ranked second in the country, beat the TWolves 80-55 on Saturday and 92-68 on Sunday.

This was the first meeting between the TWolves and Dinos since the February, a game the TWolves won 94-80 to capture their first-ever medal in Canada West.

Both UNBC basketball teams are back in action on Jan. 10, 2025 against the Fraser Valley Cascades. They’ll also play the UBC Thunderbirds on Jan. 11 before hosting the Victoria Vikes on Jan. 16.

The UNBC men finished the first half of the Canada West season 1-7, while the women were 3-5.
