PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired goaltender Colin Reay from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for future considerations.

Reay is 5′ 11, 175 pounds and hails from Sherwood Park, Alberta. Reay has posted a 14-9-4 record with a 2.85 goals against average and a .914 save percentage this season.

“We are excited to add Colin to our team. We need to get better at all positions and this addition will help solidify the goaltender spot for us,” says Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes. “Colin is a veteran player who is a great teammate and person. He will be leaned upon heavy moving forward.”

The Spruce Kings are back on the ice this Friday night when they visit Victoria.
