Vanderhoof RCMP investigate a string of thefts from vehicles

VANDERHOOF— On the morning of Tuesday, December 3, RCMP in Vanderhoof received several reports of thefts from vehicle’s which were parked at residences in the Vanderview Drive area.
Police say the Culprits entered unlocked vehicles and stole various valuables. On the evening of December 3, 2024 Mounties identified, located, and arrested two suspects. They also recovered various items believed to belong to the theft victims.
Vanderhoof RCMP are still investigating the thefts believing there may be other victims who have yet to contacted the police. RCMP recommend possession of stolen property charges and are reminding residents not to leave valuables unattended in their vehicles.
