Cougars win third straight vs Tri-City

KENNEWICK, WA — The Prince George Cougars kicked off their road trip by defeating the Tri-City Americans on the road Wednesday night, 4-3 in a shootout.
The win was made possible by a late third period goal by Cougars forward Koehn Ziemmer, who tied the game with just 27 seconds left on the clock.
Jett Lajoie scored the game winner in the shootout to secure the victory, the Cougars third in a row before 2,670 fans at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.
Tri-City outshot Prince George, 33-32, with Joshua Ravensbergen picking up the win in goal.
